*Coronavirus Update 15th May 2020*
As we move into the second phase of the UK’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we continue to operate a full service as usual, whilst complying with government guidance.
All of our staff have been working remotely from home since the initial lockdown was introduced on 23rd March 2020 and for the safety of our team, we have asked everyone to remain working at home for the duration of the lockdown.
We are now looking to implement a gradual return to the office and as of 18th May 2020, our Fleet Office will be open during our working hours. The majority of our team will continue to work from home but some of the team will be available each day to meet the needs of our clients.
We have taken a number of steps to ensure that our offices are “COVID Secure” in line with the government guidelines, so as to protect both our team and our clients.
We will be implementing strict social distancing and hygiene measures and for the time being, only short meetings of fifteen minutes or under will be conducted face to face. This will normally be for the purpose of signing or exchanging documents, or the witnessing of Wills. We will also continue to operate our social distancing home visits for the purposes of signing of Wills (this is where Wills are ordinarily signed in the garden, on a driveway or through a window).
All other meetings which are likely to take over fifteen minutes will continue to be carried out either over the telephone or video conferencing.
We hope that all of our clients remain safe and well at this difficult time.
